Supporting Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice
We’re rowing out again – and yes, we’re turning up as the defending champions of the Bluebell Wood Dragon Boat Race. No pressure.
But honestly, winning’s just the bonus. The real reason we’re doing this?
To raise as much money as possible for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, a local charity doing absolutely incredible work for families who need it most.

Bluebell Wood helps children with life-shortening conditions live full, meaningful lives, however long or short they may be. They offer everything from counselling and sibling support to end-of-life care and memory-making moments.
It’s not an easy mission. But they show up every single day for the families who need them. And we want to do the same.
🛶 Meet Team Forge
We’re your local CrossFit gym – a bit competitive, mostly soaked, and very enthusiastic.
We might be strong on the rowers in the gym… but boat racing? That’s a different beast. Expect flying paddles, suspect steering, and lots of shouting. It’s chaos. It’s brilliant. We love it.
And most importantly – we want to help raise loads of money while we’re doing it.
