Hi, I'm Tom, and this year I'm taking on the Three Peaks Challenge alongside James, Tommy and Joe, as well as running the Robin Hood Half Marathon, all to raise money for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.
Through my connection with a member of staff at Bluebell Wood, I've heard first-hand about the incredible difference the hospice makes to families facing some of life's toughest challenges. I've also seen how much the work means to the staff who support those families every day. The care, compassion and dedication shown by everyone involved is truly inspiring.
Thankfully, I hope I'll never have to face the circumstances that many Bluebell Wood families experience. Knowing that motivates me to do what I can to support the hospice and help ensure these vital services continue to be there when they're needed most.
Earlier this year, I completed the Leeds Half Marathon in 2 hours, and I'm hoping to beat that time at the Robin Hood Half Marathon. Alongside that, I'll be tackling the Three Peaks Challenge, which I'm sure will test me in a completely different way!
Every donation, no matter the size, will help Bluebell Wood continue its amazing work supporting children and families. Thank you for your support, it really does make a difference. A donation of just £10 could help provide creative resources for a child or sibling support session, including art materials and memory-making supplies. These sessions offer children a safe space to express their thoughts and feelings, create special keepsakes, and make lasting memories with their families.
