On Saturday 11 July, teams from Amazon MAN4, DXS1, LBA2 and LBA4 are hitting the water at Manvers Lake to race dragon boats in aid of Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice — a charity that provides care and support to children with life-shortening conditions and their families across South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and North Derbyshire.
We're not professional rowers — we're warehouse associates, managers and colleagues who wanted to do something fun, challenging and meaningful together. Whether we glide gracefully or splash chaotically, every stroke counts because every pound raised helps Bluebell Wood continue their incredible work.
The hospice relies on fundraising for the majority of its income, and events like this make a real difference. Any donation — big or small — goes directly towards giving families the specialist care, respite and precious time together that they deserve.
