Be part of something special this September as we celebrate and remember loved ones at Light Up The Lake 2025.

This year, we’re moving to the beautiful surroundings of Rother Valley Country Park, making the most of the larger space and stunning views to create our best experience yet.

If you’re new to this event, now in it's fifth year, it’s a truly special sight. As the sun sets, hundreds of eco-friendly lanterns float gently across the water - each one a personalised dedication. Whether you're remembering a loved, appreciating someone special or even celebrating a milestone or moment in time, these lanterns light up the lake with love. 

There’ll be children’s activities, performances from the amazing Voice Academy Choir, and plenty of space to play, relax, and soak in the atmosphere. Bring a picnic or enjoy food from local vans, and treat yourself to a warm drink as night draws in.

We suggest a minimum donation of £15 to cover the cost of your lantern. Any additional donations will help us raise the £6.7 million we need each year to continue providing care.
