The Great North Run kicks off in Newcastle city centre, skirting through the city and crossing the iconic Tyne Bridge. You'll then pass the Gateshead International Stadium, before continuing towards the coast. At mile 12, a steep descent reveals the shimmering sea, leading to a final scenic seaside mile where the crowd’s cheers grow louder as you approach the finish line. Sound like this is for you?
